Void Labs is a technology consultancy based in Perth, Australia. We design and build software, hardware, and AI systems for organisations that care deeply about what they ship.
From home electronics products to industrial mining sensors, the through-line is the same: understand the problem completely, then build the right thing for it.
Void Labs was founded in Perth in 2022 with a simple premise: the best technology work happens when the people building it have real ownership of the problem. No layers of abstraction between the brief and the people who execute it.
Our experience spans an unusually wide range — consumer electronics, embedded firmware, mining and industrial sensors, web platforms, mobile apps, AI systems, and cloud infrastructure. That breadth isn't accidental; it's what makes the work better.
Perth is home base. The clients are across Australia and beyond — logistics, resources, retail, and everything in between.

We'd rather spend an extra day getting architecture right than spend a month fixing what we rushed through. Good work takes the time it takes.

We don't staff projects with generalists who have skimmed a technology. The people who build your system understand it deeply.

We write code as if we'll maintain it for five years — because sometimes we do. Every engineering decision gets made with that frame.
Open by default
Where we can, we open source. We contribute to the tools we rely on and publish the research we do — it makes the whole ecosystem better.
